The SENATOR Top
Coat Gluer from Gluefast is a remarkable
gluing machine designed and ruggedly built
for heavy industrial use and trouble-free
maintenance. Most gluing machinery applies
adhesive onto the bottom of the item to
be glued. Gluing the top of the item offers
greater flexibility of handling. Whether
you need to glue paper or board stock, the
Top Coat Gluer applies a water
based dextrin or resin adhesive onto
nearly any item up to 3" (75mm) thick.
Not only does this adhesive application
and gluing equipment shield the gear train
and rollers to protect the operator while
it is in use, it allows for quick cleaning.
How
Does the Top Coat Gluer Work?
The Top Coat Gluer is equipped with a convenient
glue tank that uses an easy-to-open valve
to dispense adhesive onto the roller assembly.
Glue control is accomplished by adjusting
two knobs. A pressure bar attachment
helps propel rigid items through the gluer,
assuring an even film of glue or adhesive.
An optional re-circulating pump system supplies
a fresh supply of glue or adhesive, and
then drains the adhesive from the glue rollers
back to the glue container to provide maximum
glue pot life with minimal operator intervention.
