#97 ADHESIVE
PRODUCT TYPE:
Water based resin adhesive.
APPLICATIONS:
For adhering paper labels to paper, cartons,
metal, glass, coated materials and treated
polyethylene surfaces. May provide adequate
bond for some other plastics.
*FEATURES:
Good adhesion and very easy cleaning. May
be left in label gluer overnight if covered
with a wet towel and plastic bag to keep
from drying out.
APPLICATION EQUIPMENT:
Can be used in manual or electric tabletop
gluers such as those manufactured by Gluefast.
Can also be used with a pot-and-brush.
FDA STATUS:
Ingredients comply with regulations for
us in Food Packaging Adhesives as per regulation
175.105.
FREEZE-THAW STABILITY:
Limited – Frozen adhesive must be
thawed and stirred. There is some viscosity
decrease.
pH: 5.3-5.7
VISCOSITY: 2,500
– 3,500 cps
CLEANUP SOLVENT:
Soap and water or a 50:50 solution of water
and alcohol.
STORAGE CONDITIONS:
Store at room temperature. Rotate stock
using oldest material first. Shelf life
is six months. KEEP FROM FREEZING.
